On August 8, a merry band of golfers will join with a dedicated group of volunteers at Watertown Golf Club for a great day of golf and camaraderie – all for the benefit of children of low-income families!
The proceeds from this year’s Golfing for Community Action event support personal care items and school supplies for children of low-income families. Unfortunately many parents struggle to afford necessities, such as shampoo, toothpaste, hair brushes, and school supplies. Children are ill prepared for school which can adversely affect their self-esteem and confidence. Together, we can prepare children for academic – and personal – success. Won’t you please help?
