Behaviors that Challenge You

Young children are learning how to regulate themselves and their emotions. During this learning process, many will exhibit behaviors that challenge us as adults. We can help with strategies you can use to support children in learning how to effectively regulate their emotions, and engage in a positive way with their peers and adults.
Schedules and Transitions
Children thrive on routine, and have a variety of needs that should be met each day. We can help you to create a schedule for your program that will ensure that all of your children’s needs are being met. Transitioning from one part of the day to the next, can sometimes be challenging for young children. We can offer strategies to help make these transitions easier for both you and the children.

Room Arrangement

Did you know that the arrangement of furniture/materials in your program can affect children’s behaviors and social interactions? We can provide support in arranging your program environment to meet the needs of your children, and provide them with the best opportunities to experience success in interacting with their environment and their peers.
Curriculum and Lesson Planning
Children’s growth and development should be supported through Developmentally Appropriate Practices each day. Each age group, and each child, has unique needs that will need to be supported in different ways. We can provide you with the tools needed to observe and assess the children in your program to determine how to best support them with your planning of activities and curriculum.
