On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff at Community Action, we want you to know that we are here for the community in addressing needs brought about by the Covid-19 crisis.
We are currently providing food assistance through our drive-up pantry, preparing children’s meals through our Summer Food Service Program at various sites around Jefferson County and distributing food boxes with produce, dairy and meat products on Saturdays throughout Jefferson County.
In addition, in the near future, we will be able to support individuals and families with assistance for: rent to prevent eviction, assistance to avoid utility shut offs and other miscellaneous supports in the areas of child care, home weatherization measures, and overcoming barriers to gaining or maintaining employment.
We encourage you to keep checking our Agency Website and Facebook Page for important information and updates. If you are experiencing a need, we may be able to help.
Remember, “we are all in this together”, so please do everything you can to keep yourself and your family safe.
