Warrant Officers Spread Holiday Joy

It wouldn’t be the holidays without the good company of our friends from the Thousand Islands Chapter of the US Army Warrant Officer Association.  They recently invited non-profit professionals to visit them at Fort Drum and presented checks in support of programs for low-income families and children.  Each year, the group supports local charities with proceeds earned from various fundraising initiatives, including the sale of funnel cakes during Mountain Fest.

To the men and women of the Thousand Islands Chapter of the US Army Warrant Officer Association, we send a hearty THANKS for their good work and kind support! USA Warrant Officers Check PresentationPictured from left: Ernie Ixtlahuac, Chapter President; Paul Passino of the Children’s Home; Tammy Kitto and Christina Kelley of Community Action Planning Council;  John Hardy, Chapter Secretary; and Scott Mathys of Lewis County Opportunities.
