Community Action Planning Council hosted the 6th Annual Golfing for Community Action event on August 8, 2014 at Watertown Golf Club. Golfer MaryAllyn Baeslack drove the ball 137 yards on the 5th hole, making a hole in one.
Dawn Cole (left), Community Action Planning Council, congratulated MaryAllyn Baeslack, Benefit Services Group, with a check for $10,000. MaryAllyn made a kind donation to Community Action and promised to golf again next year! Golfing for Community Action raised $8,500 in support of personal care items and school supplies for children of low-income families.
