The Community Action Planning Councils is governed by a Board of Directors, comprised of representatives of the low-income population, elected public officials or their designees and members of the private sector.  This tripartite board structure reflects and promotes the unique anti-poverty leadership, action and mobilization responsibilities assigned to Community Action Agencies.  The Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that CAPC continues to assess and respond to the causes and conditions of poverty in our community, achieves anticipated family and community outcomes and remains administratively and fiscally sound.
