Registration: To register for a workshop offered by JLCP, you must complete the workshop registration form and submit with payment to CAPC, 518 Davidson St., Watertown, NY 13601. To be added to the class list, payment must be received at least three business days before the training. The registration form can be found in the newsletter or can be mailed to you at your request. Fee free to copy the form as needed. To register for SUNY Videoconferences, please visit www.tsg.suny.edu/videoconferencing.shtm

Payment: Acceptable forms of payment include cash, purchase orders, money orders, or checks payable to CAPC. Award notices from EIP are also accepted as payment. If there is a difference between the amount awarded and the cost of the class, you will be responsible for that difference and payment must bereceived 3 days prior to the class.

Educational Incentive Program: Childcare providers working in a registered or licensed facility may qualify for funding through the Educational Incentive Program (EIP). Applications are available from SUNY Training Strategies Group online at www.tsg.suny.edu. or by calling 1-800-295-9616. In the event that you receive funding for a specific training for which you have already paid, we will be able to issue you a refund for that training. You will receive an Award Notice from SUNY showing the training you submitted for and the award amount. Sign and date the Award Notice and send it to us to complete and mail to SUNY. We issue refunds once we receive payment from SUNY. If you have questions or would like technical assistance in completing an application please call Lori or Angie at 782-4900.

Cancellations: Classes may be canceled or postponed due to low enrollment, unforeseen emergencies, or weather. If a class you have paid for is canceled you will be notified and issued a Training Pass to use within the next year. If you need to cancel, please notify JLCP as soon as possible. Training credits will be issued only if you cancel before the scheduled workshop. If you call after business hours, CAPC voice mail will direct you to JLCP where you can leave us a message. As long as the message is left before the training time we will be able to issue a Training Pass.

Certificates and Training Records: Certificates for trainings other than SUNY Videoconferences will be given to participants upon completion of a training and receipt of full payment. You are responsible for maintaining your workshop certificates and training records. You can contact JLCP to request a Training Tracking Sheet. There will be a $5 fee for each duplicate certificaterequested. For your convenience, JLCP will mail you a copy of your training record that we have on file. This record only contains trainings that you have taken through JLCP, unless you have submitted other certificates. There is nofee for this service. If you attend SUNY Videoconferences or other trainings outside of CAPC, we do not have a record of any credit you receive. If you would like us to track those trainings, please send copies of your certificates to CAPC.

SUNY Videoconferences: When attending SUNY Videoconferences at CAPC or at Lewis County DSS, you will be required to show proof of identification with a photo ID such as a driver's license or student ID. This is to ensure accuracy on our part when completing the Videoconference materials to be returned to SUNY. You must register with SUNY at least 2 weeks prior to the Videoconference. SUNY will then send you a confirmation letter, which we suggest bringing with you as proof of registration. In the event that we exceed capacity, walk-ins will be asked to give up their seat for any incoming registered participants. Please register with SUNY for only those Videoconferences that you honestly plan to attend. SUNY is monitoring those who register and do not attend and they may consider you a "chronic no-show". This could have an impact on your ability to attend future Videoconferences. If you are registered and can not attend, please call SUNY at 1-888-399-0549 to let them know. Participants must arrive by 6:45 pm in order to be admitted to a Videoconference. To receive a certificate and training credit you must stay until 9 pm and receive a passing grade on the multiple-choice test. Certificates will be issued to you from SUNY.

Children and Trainings: We're sorry, but our trainings are intended for adults only and children will not be allowed to stay. Please make other arrangements for your children if you plan to attend a training.
